Pixel Map List
The Pixel Map List is where you create, edit, and delete Pixel Maps in your Show File.
List Controls
Add New Pixel Map
Opens a window for generating or loading new Pixel Maps.
Clear All
Deletes all of your show File's Pixel Maps.

Pixel Map
Pixel Maps are named following a sequential numbering system. Each Pixel Map represents the input resolution and panel placements of your physical video wall processor(s)
Format:

Settings Button
Opens Pixel Map Settings window for the Pixel Map.

Displays Resolution for the Pixel Map

Save Pixel Map
Saves the Pixel Map to a system file.

Pixel Map Settings
The Pixel Map Settings Menu allows for a variety of Pixel Maps. If a Pixel Map image file has been supplied for the video wall processor(s), one may be loaded and imported into your Pixel Map in your Show File. If one has not been provided, this menu contains options for automatically generating your own Pixel Map image file out of a generated grid or a default colored ramp.

Load a custom image to serve as the background for the pixel map.

Select your file path of a Pixel Map image file.

Resolution X. Width resolution control for a generated Pixel Map.

Resolution Y. Height resolution control for a generated Pixel Map.

Grid Res
Integer
Grid Resolution. Pixel Maps can be generated with an automated grid based background, Grid Res is used to control the width and height of each of the generated square grid sections.
Tip: Usually, you would enter in the same value as your physical panel’s width and height for that processor.

Generate Pixel Map Button
Generates an automated Pixel Map with a grid of shapes defined by Grid Res.

Clear Pixel Map Button
Delete generated Pixel Map and/or loaded image file.

Mask Image
Load a custom image to serve as the mask for the pixel map. A mask is an image file that is black with holes of transparency intended to block out parts of specific panels to create custom shapes. For example, you can make a circle out of a square panel by masking the corners of the square panel to be black.

Select your file path of a Pixel Map image file.

Accept Button
Accepts the current Pixel map configuration and closes Pixel Map Settings.
